March 9. ‘Inter-generational Harmony – Body & Mind Wellness – ESG elderly Service’ cum 18th Anniversary Kickoff Ceremony was successfully held at Yuen Long Town Hall on March 9, 2024. About 300 guests and elderly attended.
Guest of Honor Yuen Long District Council member Mr Angus Lam and Honorable Guest Chairman of Yuen Long Town Hall Management Committee Mr Fung Kin Chung participated at the event opening as well as the 18th anniversary kickoff ceremony.
Keynote speaker topic 'Climate and Sustainability Management' was delivered by Mr. Henry Wang, B20/G20 international advisor and author. Musical program included children speech, bass, piano as well as the popular kemusan dance. The program ended with Singer Universal singing 2 songs together with young children.
Our Hong Kong Foundation Ms Dorothy Yeung and Chicks Director Ms Alicia Tam talked about elderly healthcare policy and clothing care respectively, followed by yoga and meridian flapping exercise.
While the program was delivered with much information and entertainment content, the elderly went to 5/F to enjoy the physio-therapeutic pain relief and Chinese doctor consultation.
Lastly the elderly took away the goodie bags full of souvenirs from Chicks, Bleue Fleur Jewelry, etc, partly packed by the young children from Blooming Education.
