August 10. Thrilled to partner with Ocean Park Hong Kong, the Foundation invited over 40 participants, including students from 14 schools to participate in the ESG Teen Ambassador Program held at Ocean Park, one of the major parks leading biodiversity and ocean conservation in the world. Participants not only listened to the talks by expert speakers but also 3 groups of youth leaders on their social impact.
Senior Manager, Discovery and Education, Janet Cheung showcased Ocean Park's sustainability efforts, while Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Ambassador nicked named 'Ghost nest Hunter' Harry Chan MH shared his passion for ghost net hunting. Foundation Advisor and ESG expert Henry Wang talked about climate change and ESG education.
Youth including founder Valerie and team members Nadia and Crystal shared about their group Teen Animals da Scientists on how to promote SDGs while Neurodiversity Club founder Ava and team members highlighted their impactful projects promoting inclusion for special needs. Though with Duchene muscular dystrophy, Noddy Chen inspired everyone with positivity and hope.
The event would not be successful without the support from Ocean Park Vania, as well as from CPF Impact team Connie, Michelle, Jackie and ESG MC Ambassador Master Joe. The Foundation was grateful to the parents and guardians who accompanied the students and wished them a lovely afternoon in the Park afterwards.
